Today, there are more than 2 million breast cancer survivors alive in
the United States. That’s because breast cancer is being found earlier due to increased
awareness and greater use of screening tests, as well as better treatment options. This
means a better chance of surviving and a better quality of life than ever before.
We are proud of the part the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Madison Affiliate has played in
the fight against breast cancer. Yet there is still much more to do. And until a cure is
found, we will continue to work to make a difference in the lives of people affected by
breast cancer. But today, we still need your help.
