Donations to the Komen Foundation are a vital part of our fundraising efforts and often a very personal way for individuals and organizations to join the fight against breast cancer by remembering or celebrating those they love that have been affected by the disease.
This program allows donors to remember a loved one's life, celebrate a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc.,) or recognize the courage of a friend or relative who is fighting breast cancer by making a donation in the person's name. A personalized tribute card is sent to the person or family indicated, notifying them of the thoughtful donation but not revealing the amount of the donation. Each gift is tax-deductible to the extent of the law, and each donor receives an acknowledgment for the donation.
